This presentation will provide an overview of the spectrum of these disorders ranging from mouth breathing to obstructive sleep apnea. Learn the importance of screening for these disorders and establishing an interdisciplinary team, with tips and advice on how to implement these recommendations with the children and families in your practice.

Anna Gross is a board certified Speech-Language Pathologist, holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Anna received a Master of Science in Communication Disorders and Sciences from California State University, Northridge. Anna currently works in private practice in Los Angeles, CA, where she specializes in motor speech disorders, phonological disorders, orofacial myofunctional disorders, and feeding disorders in the pediatric population. In addition to her private practice work, Anna is also co-founder of OMBRE, an online orofacial myofunctional therapy company, where she provides tele-health services to individuals in the pediatric and adult populations. Anna is a professional member of the California Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CSHA), Academy of
Applied Myofunctional Sciences (AAMS), International Consortium of Oral Ankylofrenula Professionals (ICAP), and the Medical Speech-Language Pathology Council of California (MSCC).
