This talk empowers pediatric dentists to recognize early signs of mental health challenges in children, understand emerging mental health trends, and adopt actionable strategies that foster emotional well-being. Participants will leave with tools to make a lasting impact on the health of their young patients and their own children.

1. Identify early signs of mental health issues in children, enhancing care and intervention.
2. Understand emerging mental health trends to strengthen their approach to pediatric care.

Dr. Jamil Jivraj is a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist at Alberta Children’s Hospital, a global
keynote speaker, and a national board member of the Canadian Academy of Child and
Adolescent Psychiatry (CACAP). He completed his child psychiatry training at the University of
Toronto, The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and CAMH.

As founder of Climb Together Parenting, he is known for turning complex science into practical,
compassionate guidance that strengthens families. His work includes contributions to global
mental-health policy and teaching across Canada and internationally.

Warm, clear, and deeply grounded, Dr. Jivraj helps families raise children who feel safe, capable,
and connected.
